Only two gates of Gosikhurd Dam are now partially open, releasing 13,683 cusecs of water — a significant drop from yesterday’s 48,456 cusecs. With an ‘Orange Alert’ issued for Bhandara by the Meteorological Department, officials say more water may be discharged if heavy rainfall continues in the dam’s catchment area.
